Solution: Customized Integration of Fixed and Removable K12 Crash-Rated Bollards

In 2023, Ontario Bollards successfully executed a comprehensive perimeter security upgrade using a strategic combination of Fixed K12 Bollards and Removable K12 Bollards.

• Fixed K12 Bollards were permanently installed in high-risk, heavily trafficked pedestrian zones to ensure continuous and reliable protection against vehicular threats. Engineered with robust construction, these bollards provide proven hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) where permanent barriers are essential.
• Removable K12 Bollards were thoughtfully placed in locations requiring occasional vehicular access, such as emergency response routes or maintenance corridors. Offering identical high-impact resistance as their fixed counterparts, these removable bollards allow secure, convenient access as needed.

Selected specifically for their polished stainless steel finish, these bollards seamlessly blend with the contemporary architecture and historic elements of Ottawa City Hall, creating an effective yet discreet security boundary.
