The ännt 4536RTPC is a non-rated, galvanized and powder coated manual retractable bollard designed for secure access control in driveways, commercial laneways, and pedestrian areas. It locks in the upright position and retracts fully below ground to keep the surface level and unobstructed.

The ännt 4536RTPC is a manual retractable bollard built for locations that need clean aesthetics, strong visual deterrence, and smooth access control without powered operation. Made from galvanized steel and then powder coated, this model is engineered to resist corrosion in environments exposed to road salt, moisture, and temperature changes.

The bollard locks securely in the upright position using a front-facing key system. When lowered, it retracts fully into the ground casing, leaving the top surface flush so vehicles and pedestrians can pass without obstruction. A built-in flush handle allows the user to raise the bollard easily and lock it back into place.

With its durable construction and simple operation, the 4536RTPC is well suited for residential driveways, small commercial sites, utility areas, private laneways, and locations where flexible access is required. It pairs cleanly with ANNT’s fixed and removable stainless-steel bollards to create a unified architectural look.

Spec Sheet

  • 1. What makes ännt Bollards different from other perimeter protection manufacturers?

Our certified products are backed by one of the most experienced teams in the industry — experts who ensure every solution is engineered, installed, and performing to the highest standard. We pride ourselves on having the best product and the best customer service in the industry.

  • 2. How do I know which bollard or barrier is right for my project?

Our team provides tailored guidance for every application. We review your site conditions, access needs, and threat requirements to ensure the correct model, foundation type, and configuration are specified from the start.

  • 3. Are all ännt products certified or crash-rated? What’s the difference?

Many of our systems are crash-rated to PAS 68, ASTM M-series, and IWA 14-1 standards. Non-rated models share the same engineering precision but are designed for light-duty or architectural applications where certification isn’t required.

  • 4. Can ännt Bollards work directly with my architect, contractor, or security consultant?

Yes. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We frequently partner with design teams, contractors, and consultants to simplify coordination, maintain compliance, and ensure efficient installation.

  • 5. Do your systems meet international standards for crash testing and safety?

Yes. ännt’s crash-rated products are independently tested and certified to meet recognized global standards, including PAS 68, ASTM M-series, and IWA 14-1 — ensuring proven performance and consistent results on projects worldwide.

  • 6. How do your bollards perform in harsh winter conditions?

Our bollards are engineered to perform reliably in extreme climates. Heated components, sealed enclosures, and drainage systems prevent freezing, while corrosion-resistant materials ensure long-term durability through snow, salt, and ice.

  • 7. Can ännt customize bollard finishes, materials, or operation types for specific site requirements?

Yes. We offer multiple finishes, materials, and operation types — including automatic, semi-automatic, and removable models — with options for lighting, access control, and aesthetic integration to suit any environment.

  • 8. How quickly can products be delivered or installed once a project is approved?

Lead times vary by model and project size, but we maintain efficient production and logistics channels to support fast turnaround across North America, with installation guidance and support available where needed.
