ANNT’s Anti-Terrorism Bollards comprise an extensive range of crash-rated bollards for guarding against all vehicular threats. ANNT crash-rated bollards are rated from K4 – K12 (M30 – M50). The K rating refers to the ability of the bollard to resist the impact of a vehicle traveling at a specific speed, ensuring that the bed of the vehicle does not go beyond the bollard by more than 1m or 39.5”.

Crash-Rated vs. Crash-Certified

A K-rated bollard and a K-certified bollard are both designed to provide protection against vehicle-borne threats, but there is an important difference between the two. A K-rated bollard has been tested and rated according to the US Department of State’s K-rating system, but a K-certified bollard has been tested and rated, and has also been certified by a third-party testing organization, such as the Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The certification process involves rigorous testing and verification of the bollard’s design, construction, and performance to ensure that it meets or exceeds the specified K-rating standards.
